Christo Ras
Head Librarian – Africa Footage Library
Christo Ras has been working in the Library & Information field since 1995. From 2001 he worked as the Senior Reference Librarian at the Florida Regional library, the sixth largest public library in South Africa, before starting with Aquavision in 2008 as Head Librarian. With over 14 years experience he is responsible for the daily running of the Africa Footage Library and management of its staff.

Gerrit Gerike
Assistant Editor - Library
Gerrit worked for Mark Burnett on Survivor Season 13 as Post Production PA in the USA and upon his return to South Africa, he successfully completed the FCP 6 Level 1 and the Wildlife Academy Course at Entembeni. He then embarked on an internship with wildlife filmmaker, Kim Wolhuter, where he learned the basics of being a wildlife filmmaker in situ.
Gerrit started at Aquavision in the development department and is currently working as an assistant editor in the library. He is passionate about wildlife and all genres of storytelling and learning as much as possible about the filmmaking business as he can.

Marcus Masalesa
Library Assistant
Marcus worked for UNISA Library from December 2001 to June 2009 as Library Assistant. His duties included Shelf Reading and Inventory Control.
In June 2009 he started working for Aquavision TV Productions as a Library Assistant and Productions. Here he in charge of signing in and out of the Library Tapes, Books, and DVD's; Logging
Tapes, looking for footage for productions and external clients, copying and printing all DVD's/CD'S.
He is currently studying for B com Degree in Risk Management with UNISA.

After finishing school in 2007, Thabi joined Aquavision as a Library intern. He has been with Aquavision for 3 years now and is a Library Assistant and Assistant Editor.
