Elaine Dodge
Producer & Writer

After a long and successful career in design and advertising, including being Creative Director at one of the larger advertising agencies in Zimbabwe, and running her own design and advertising consultancy, The Artful Dodges, for seven years, Elaine immigrated to South Africa just over seven years ago. Since altering her career path Elaine has produced, written and directed nearly 30 hours of television for the SABC and DSTV. Her first prime time series, Speak Out, is now in its fourth season.

Since joining Aquavision Elaine has produced Catching Giants for National Geographic. Apart from being a member of the development team other shows she has worked on have been Caught on Safari Live, Shark Attack Experiment Live and the new 3D series for Discovery. She is also in charge of the maintenance and development of the website as well as heading up the data management system of the company.

Awards include US International Film and Television Award for Excellence in Creative Communication.

Petro Van Dyk
Development Producer 

Former front lady of an unconventional girl band, Petro now specializes in management and coordination.  She has dipped in and out of various music, entertainment and film projects over the past eight years. Petro found her way to Aquavision TV Productions through her love for documentary films and conservation. She quickly got to know filming in Africa inside out and is now in her third year in wildlife and conservation programming.  In her short time at Aquavision, she’s acted as Line Producer for Channel 7 News Australia, and Production Manager on Croc Ganglands, the new one hour Swamp Lions for National Geographic Wild and Into the Shark Bite for Discovery Channel. Her most recent project has been Shark Attack Experiment Live.

She recently moved into the Development Producer position and shares in creative brainstorming sessions, strategizing and research. She also runs the Social Communication Committee responsible for all things fun. Petro doesn’t like pet shops and shoes.

She loves stargazing, new music, extreme sports, the ocean, history and magazines.
